Asei Architects

Partner Architect

Asei Architects of Tokyo is focused on creating a recycling-oriented society, pursuing environmentally-friendly architecture through the discovery and use of unused local resources, and developing recycled materials using local technologies.

The company describes this as Material Development and Environmental Architecture for the Recycling of Unused Resources. These activities in creating a recycling society resulted in the firm being awarded the Architect of the Future award from the Tokyo Association of Architects and Building Engineers in 2018.

The firm’s works include Shirasu, a house in Kagoshima Prefecture created using artificial stone made from local Shirasu soil; Loam, a two-family residence in Tokyo utilizing soil unearthed during construction work; and Biochar, a house in Sanaraku Park, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka prefecture built with biochar blocks.

These works have been highly praised, and have been acknowledged through some 30 awards including the Architectural Institute of Japan’s New Designer Award.

Åppås Priority K.K.

Property Manager

The Sámi languages of Northern Scandinavia have many different words for “snow”. Åppås (pronounced “ōp’pōs”) means an untracked field of snow—a place where you can break your own trail. A place to create your own story.

Åppås Priority was founded based on our personal experience as Niseko property owners. As we managed our own project, property, and rental business, we gained valuable insights and learned that every property and owner is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to property management.

That's why we offer customised services tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of each property owner. Our range of services includes property management, project management and rental management.

At Åppås Priority, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of quality in each service, going above and beyond the expectations of both owners and guests.
