Something unexpected; a place unlike anything else to be found in this winter paradise. The name comes from the Norwegian language; the meaning is related to Mindé’s unique shape—a gently curved, striking building (we’d be happy to tell you the whole story over a beer in the Mindé bar).

Mindé is the brainchild of Tokyo design and architectural firm Scandinavian Modern. Concept and design is by renowned Swedish architect team Claesson Koivisto Rune (CKR), in coordination with Tokyo-based Asei Architects.

Mindé is a place of tasteful, truly creative luxury and quality in all its details. It features a beautiful but understated Scandinavian design aesthetic, one that simply fits in the lovely Niseko landscape. This iconic look will be a landmark, with every window of the exquisite apartments providing views of Niseko’s famous mountains, Mt. Yotei and Mt. Annupuri.

ミンデはノルウェー語で「思い出」。有機的な曲線が美しい建物のすべての窓から、壮麗な羊蹄山の景色が楽しめます。本物の贅沢な暮らしを追求した空間の根底に流れるのは、自然との共生、シンプルモダン、そして機能美を尊ぶ北欧デザインの美学。東京の建築デザイン事務所スカンジナビアンモダンが発案し、コンセプトとデザインはスウェーデンのCKR が、ASEI 建築設計事務所と共同で手がけました。
